Tempo was born out of an innovation day to solve our own time tracking, planning, and reporting challenges while using JIRA for development and consultancy. Tempo (now Tempo Timesheets) launched internationally in 2009 and has enabled us to work on solving additional challenges our customers face. We launched our visual resource planning add-on, Tempo Planner, in January 2014 and the same year, we acquired FOLIO, a project and portfolio management add-on for JIRA, which was rebranded as Tempo Folio in early 2015. In April 2015, we launched our professional services solution, Tempo Books. We're working hard to make all products available in the cloud by early 2016.
