API Documentation - Experimental

Welcome to TIMESHEETS API Documentation. Use this REST API to programmatically transfer data to or from TIMESHEETS in order to integrate with other business components. REST being based on open standards, you are free to use any web development language to access the API.
Please visit JIRA's REST API Documentation to learn how to develop the client code required to call these methods.

NOTE: We are still developing these API's so they can change at anytime.

You can use Atlassian's REST API Browser in order to tryout the operations manually through a web interface, integrated into JIRA. The REST API Browser will allow you to see all REST methods exposed by TIMESHEETS (and other add-ons).

  • Interfaces not documented

MireDot believes that the Java methods below correspond to REST interfaces, but somehow had problems parsing/processing these interfaces and therefore excluded them from the generated documentation. We would very much appreciate it if you would send us the interfaces (not the implementations) and the types used (returntype, parameters). This will allow us to further improve MireDot and better document your interfaces in the future.

Below is a list of potential problems detected by MireDot. They can be severe or not. Some of them wil result in low quality documentation, some are real implementation issues. With each warning, the Java method causing the problem is documented.
